bottled blonde
restaurant and bar
bottled blonde anchors the corner of camelback and scottsdale roads in old town, a ground-up venue for evening entertainment group that has to work as a pizzeria at noon and a packed bar at midnight. the building meets the street directly: a deep overhang carries the patio out to the sidewalk, so the room starts before the front door.

the plan is organized around a central bar and service core. putting service in the middle frees the perimeter for seating and games, and gives every table a full view across the room rather than a wall. the material palette keeps the energy grounded: raw wood and granite at the bar, with a planted green wall running above the seating.

a rooftop level was added after the original build, trading the ground floor's density for open air, ivy detailing, and looser social space above the old town intersection.
